Etiquette Guidelines:
Enter the practice room mindfully, respecting others who may be meditating or relaxing. Close the door quietly and place your mat down gently.
Refrain from unnecessary conversations and phone usage in the practice room. Avoid wearing strong scents like perfumes as this is a breathing practice and perfumes may bother others.
Inform the teacher about any physical conditions, injuries, health concerns, or pregnancy before class.
Approach your practice with care and consideration, respecting your limitations and listening to the needs of your body and mind each day.
Listen carefully to your teacher’s instructions. Try to follow them.
New students and visitors practicing beyond the Primary Series should initially focus on Primary Series until progression is approved by the teacher.
Adhere to the traditional Ashtanga sequence of yoga asanas, unless instructed otherwise by your teacher. If you are newer to the practice and unfamiliar with the sequence let the teacher know.
Refrain from attempting new asanas without approval of your teacher and don’t ask for new asanas. Patience and acceptance are key aspects of the practice, focusing on being present rather than acquiring new postures.
Practice each posture and vinyasa without skipping unless there is a valid reason.
Refrain from eating within 2 hours of practice and avoid drinking water while practicing.
Maintain personal hygiene by ensuring the cleanliness of yourself and your yoga gear.
Please deliver your payment ideally before class. Ensure timely payments to allow the focus to remain on delivering quality teaching rather than administrative tasks.
Never skip final resting.
Enjoy your practice.
